It was 12 years ago today at St Mark’s Church, Dublin (now known as Katie Taylor’s Church!) that my Darling Annmarie and I were married.
We knew that married life would have its ups and downs, but I think it’s fair to say that we have, over those 12 years, had our fair share of challenges. But God has been there, even though we haven’t always seen it at the time. He has brought us to where we are now. We need to continue to trust him for whatever the next years of our marriage will bring.
At the time of our Wedding, some verses from Isaiah were important to us. They are just as appropriate today:
Those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31
